AWS Lightsail is Amazon's simplified line, packaging compute, storage and transfer into a predictable flat monthly fee, with a clean upgrade path to EC2 and the rest of AWS. It covers more than twenty regions at globally uniform pricing, which suits workloads that need a large provider's stability and compliance posture. It costs more than budget hosts; you are paying for network quality and ecosystem.
